2 and a half men is one of my favorite comedy's. It's one of the biggest comedy's on the air that shows how people can live with one rich person in the whole entire family. It's on CBS is one of the biggest U.S. commercial broadcasting networks and the new season addition is Ashton Kutcher who replaced Charlie Sheen. Ashton is the rich one now and charlies brother on the show thanks hes his brother. I consider this one of the best comedys on CBS as we speak. They already came out with 9 seasons of the T.V series.

lil wayne raps about constantly partying and getting as many girls as he wants. To me he is never really serious in his lyrics he's very provacative and just open he raps about whatever comes to mind. I dont think he really thinks about what he says its more about what sells for him than the meaning of his music thats why i think his music is more maintsream media.

J.cole is one of the best rappers out at least in my opinion.

His songs can relate to anybody i have been listening to him for about a year now and almost every song he has came out with i can sit down and say wow that sounds like something i have gone through. his music is meaningful and you can tell that he has put alot of thought into his lyrics and he isnt careless about it. Thats why i think his music his counterculture.

The similarities between j.cole and lil wayne are there both rappers and it seems they both have the same ambition as being big in the music industry and being someone well known. The difference between them are i feel like there goals and how there going to reach them are very different j.cole is trying to send a message with his lyrics were lil wayne just does this for fun.

I belive Axe Murder Boyz is a anti-mainstreme band. I listen to the song HONOR and i agree with 90% of it.

Now i listin to a band or a song like that, that actuly has meaning and its sad when people are obsesed with crap like justin beiber or big time rush. My opnion on justin beiber is that hes smart for realising that a lot of little kids would be obsesed with him and that alot of people are stupid and belive everything the media sais. But i also belive that he just does everything his label tells him to do and that he actuly has no control. I know that 90% of big time rush is fake cause i was bord and watched there show and i was discusted they call this music real?? the band got a call they need to do a photo shoot and a music video and a guy came up to them and sed your wearing this stand over there and the guy told them what they wer going to be doing exactly in the music video.

They had no control at all so everything they said was just what the people in the desk behind them said, that is why i listin to real music under ground shit!!

The topic I am going to write about is Eminem. One way he is stylish is by the way he dresses and wears his clothes. Another way he can be stylish is by the way he raps. The example of how stylish he raps is the way he raps and the words he chosses to put into the song.

One song I have as a example is "Mockingbird" by Eminem where he is talking about both his daughters and how he wanted them to succeed in life but instead their houses were robbed by people. That is a example of a substance because it's realistic and when raps he talks about all the bad stuff hes done in the past but now that he's getting older he went into rehab and made a album called Recovery which was after he got help.

My opinion about Eminem on how he got famous is more substance because like I said before in his other songs he make sure he writes his lyrics and usually all of the other songs are things that happen in real life. He was raised in a ghetto neighborhood and he knows how to react to the things that happen to him.

Glee is art because it's singing and all about expressing yourself through music and being able to be yourself weather your judged or not. But it does have other factors in it like school and real life teenage drama, but the business part of it is that they sing songs that most of the world has already heard and like, so whether you watch it for the first time or have watched from beginning to end you're able to some what enjoy it because you know the songs.

To me I get really emotional on this show because besides the music part of the show they deal with real life teenage issues and they don't sugar coat it. Like with having a gay couple (Kurt & Blaine) on the show they really get into showing the real life struggles of being a gay teen and for me it always hits a spot because this happens everyday in high schools.

Glee's style is different because it's kind of nerdy, but at the same time cool and it's more of just being free and instead of putting in your typical you're popular "I'm better than you" act they put in different types of people, overweight people, gay people , average people, cheerleaders and more. The meaning behind this show is you should be able to be you and achieve your goals no matter what and that singing isn't a weakness if anything it makes you stronger because you're able to sing whenever and wherever music is a form of freedom.

The media I’m choosing to write about is a band called Twiztid, on Psychopathic Records. I believe them to be more art because the music is underground and they don’t talk about making money,its more about family and staying true to your beliefs and not letting mainstream media control everything. They also take on the persona of serial killers and relate to horror films.

I believe they have the perfect amount of art and business together. Everyone knows they make money so they don’t have to talk about it and they understand that. They know that majority of horror core fans are into horror movies to. The stuff they put out people can relate to.

I think Twiztid’s music is mostly pure art because its a underground label with out censorship and they are friends with the producer, and creator of the label. some times they takes things and put it into they’re own style such as horror movies or commodys like friday the 13th or cheech n chong.

Inspirational Art

I chose my media text to be a movie based on inspirational art. My media text is more artful because it's about a married woman (Jennifer Lopez) who is getting abused by her husband, he's trying to take full custody of their daughter and she's on the run and can't take the abuse anymore. She hires a trainer to teach her self defense. She takes revenge on her husband and she gets her daughter back.

The plot of the movie is inspirational knowledge towards women of all ages, shows to never let anyone over power you physically or mentally especially a man. Anyone who claims they love you but hurts you physically doesn't love their self and needs to put you do down to make them feel better because they get a kick at seeing you down. The main point in the movie was to show women that you're underestimated on the outside but powerful on the inside.

I feel like not many people have seen this movie because it's old, not really something teens would be interested in especially since it's not thriller, action, or a comedy movie which usually attracts the attention of my age crowd. I feel that if I recommended it to girls my age they would like the movie just as much as I did, because it makes us as females look good and feel good about our selves.

Eminem used to be more business fueled because when he first started out in the game he was poor and at that time cared about getting money more for his own family and especially his daughter, but now he that he has the wealth he's still doing music and hes doing it more for the art then the money because he enjoys doing it and he isn't worrying about money so much anymore.

I think money is a big influence behind it but I also think if you have a passion for it, it can also play a big role in creating a work of art. So I think if you enjoy getting paid to do what you love it can be a big work of art. So when he was poor at the time he got into the industry and he already had a job so he can provide for his family, but now he does it just for the fun of it.

How Marshall Mathers got into the industry was that Dr Dre had ended up finding one of Eminems old Eps on the floor of his office and he ended up listening to it and wanting to find Eminem. Once they were able to get a hold of each other, Eminem flew down to L.A for a couple of months and they started working on the Slim Shady Lp and after Eminem's first music video ("My Name Is") he ended up going mainstream.

Nicki Minaj makes that money!

Super Base is one of Nicki Minaj songs one of my favorite. lol. She made this song and looks fine as hell in it which gets male viewers, then the song targets girls and in the video has males in it which all my home girls say look good. Nicki Minaj has some of the best flows but she uses her talent and her beauty to make money, nothing wrong with that!

I think that if all of her songs didn't have money to deal with it and raps about how she is or feels, she would produce more art then business! But how she looks and the video is designed and her dancing makes it art. Nicki Minaj is a beast. In no way Nicki Minaj makes her songs pure art because all she has is money on her mind, makes music for money, looks good for money, money changes her looks.

She is one of my favorite artist, so talented. I don't care that she uses her music to make money. with out her and other people like her we would not have entertainment and she influences other girls to rap not just guys. I've seen a girl rap battle my homie and he is too cold when he flows and this girl made him silent, More girls should start rapping they would change the rap game.

Something that makes me a victim of consumerism is Coca-Cola. I see commercials on TV about Coca-Cola and I see them trying to advertise it in stores. It is something that I consume too much of.

I fall into their consumerist trap because it is my favorite kind of pop. I always have some and I drink a lot of it everyday.

I think other people may fall into their consumerist trap because they might like to drink it too. They may not fall into the consumerist trap if they don't like it. It depends on the person and what they like to drink.

I think that people can do many things to resist the temptations of our consumerist culture. To resist falling into the consumerist trap of getting Coca-Cola people can get something else instead. At restaurants you can ask for a cup of water instead of getting pop or coca-cola and it is free.

Panda Express

Panda Express has some amazing Chinese food. I walked by it in the mall today hungry as hell! but unfortunately I am broke so I wasn't able to buy it. my favorite combination is some mango chicken with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Panda Express was founded by Andrew and Peggy Cherng and Andrew's father. My stomach thanks them for having such a great chain restaurant.

Other people should consume there food because its fast and you get your food right away and never have to wait unless there's a line of course. Its a little pricey but its worth it because I usually get full and have leftovers for later. Most of the workers at every Panda Express are very respectful and nice and usually gives me samples so I know what I'm getting.

The world would be a different place if everyone consumed Panda Express because there would be a lot more stores and the prices will go down plus more menu items. But the world would also stink because eating Chinese gives people some very serious bowel movements. We the people and our government needs to eat more Panda Express because that shit is bomb as hell!

Every time I walk into the mall from the buss stop on the 1st floor or the 3rd I see a sign for underwater world. I don’t really care to go there I think it’s also over priced it could be cool if it was cheap and or free. The shark is awesome depending on who is in it and if they are entreating, but I be running and joking with him and stuff. But I think it’s more of a tourist thing to.
So me and my friends were walking through the mall and the shark was awesome he was jumping around and hugging people and doing tricks and the splits and it was awesome.

Confession to Consummerism

When it comes to clothes/shoes and shopping period im a big consumer. When I see new things coming out designed by my favorite stores I shop at on commercial or in a magazine I feel the urg that I need to get them. I honestly dont know which one I consume the most out of shoes or clothes, I think I consume more shoes because their's so many styles, colors and brands to choose from. I feel like if I don't get what I seen advertised, then see someone else with it that makes me upset and urgs me to spend more money on the things that I really dont need.

I fall into their trap and get the things I see that they advertise because of the deals/discounts or sales they may have going on at the time is was being adevertised. Being that the sales are for limited time I have to get it before it's to late, although it will still be there when the sale is over I would rather save money by going when there's a discounts. Other people may tend to fall into the trap of things being advertised because they might of heard it was coming out before it was even in stores, and they could've possibly read about it on the internet, magazine, email, etc.

I believe we should by the things we actually need instead of what we more so want because I guarantee their would be more money being saved on our part. Businesses/Companies wouldn't go out of business but their customers would most likely decrease, less visiting is what I mean when I say decrease.

The one thing that's unsuccessful consumerism is Newport cigarettes. I say its Unconsuming because your paying 6 dollars to kill yourself and your shortening Ur life expectancy. The worst part of tobacco is when minors see adults smoking them and then they try to smoke them to make them try and look cool.

The worst part of smoking these is that you can make all of your clothes smell like cigarette tobacco. If they have already been a smoker and then end up in the hospital with bad lungs, heart disease, stroke, and if you are a female and you are pregnant your child could end up coming out with down syndrome.

There are people who are smart enough not to try a cigarette in there whole life. People Start smoking them and end of addicted to having habits on smoking. To end my blog I'm going to say that if you want to be a smoker just know that there a risk that you take from smoking.

People who are able to stay away from Micky Ds are mostly healthy, that exercise and eat right.
People stay away from McDonalds for many reasons, such as Loosing weight, not falling into any habits, Allergic reactions, or if there on the brink of having a heart attack.

How people can prevent going to mcdonalds is telling our childern that too much fast food is bad food, and that it will make u waste your money and ur ability to exercise and do other activities, another way is being able to cook food from home and take it with you whether it is left overs or freshly made.

Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 is a "fun ass game". it was released in Japan June 23, 1996 with Italian actors like Luigi and Mario. Super Mario is set in Princess Peach's castle, which consist of three floors containing doors and picture to other levels. Mario has to save Peach from Bowser because he invaded the castle and imprisoned the princess and her servents.

Super Mario 64 is my favorite game to play on Nintendo 64 absolute classic. no one can beat me! Mario is a life saver and too awesome for everyone in the castle. I found the information on Wikipedia it is one way communication because it only explanes communication.

The Groups that are being mentioned in this blog is NFL football fans. The type of people i mean when i say NFL football fans is people who will cheer on their team and have alot of partys and will make sure there are alot of people there watching it. Watching this stuff makes it fun to watch because some games will be close where it will come down to the final second. As you see in the picture the players are allowed to do touchdown dances and some of them are exciting to watch.

I think that youtube is a unbalanced two-way communication for people because it is usually used to watch video clips or listen to music but people can comment and blog on youtube as well. Even tho the vikings are 0-4 to start the season off so far I will still like all Madden games.

Representations of men vs woman , men on Family Guy are looked at as more superior and higher than woman because they work and pay the bill's while the woman stay home and clean and take care of all the kids. For example on one episode Peter treated woman horribly at work, at home and whenever he was around them and it got so bad that his boss made him go to a woman's retreat and when he came back from it he respected woman way more but of course it didn't last long.

There is a two-way communication on the Family Guy were you can write and have feed back about the show but it can be censored or preselected, there s also rules you have to follow if you wanna leave feed back and you can do it at this website. Matt Groening from the Simpsons had created a stereotypical character named Chief Wiggim, I think it is trite because that is not what all cops do, most of them are not lazy, carless, or stupid. Most of all the character Cheif Wiggim does abunch of stupid stuff with his gun putting himself and the other people around him in danger.

Madea's Big Happy Family

This Tyler Perry movie is about a sorta big black family, they all really don't get along that well. Madea the main character is trying to help her niece tell her children that she is ill and wants to share the news as a family but their all too busy dealing with their own life problems. Her niece's daughter Tammy is having trouble controlling her kids and is losing faith on her marriage, her other daughter Kim is a really high classed business woman who is really rude, selfish, and she doesn't respect her husband at all, and her son Byron has just got home from serving 2yrs in prison and when he gets out he is almost urging/forced to start drug dealing again in order to pay his child support and support his girlfriend and himself. Her niece's illness is getting worse and she finally passes away and a family secret is revealed.

I was bumping this alblum last night just chilling in my room.

I thought this alblum is amzing and the fact that you can just zone out and listin to it is great.

The music is mainly directed to stoners but if you dont use you can understand the music you can aprecite it for what it is. KMK has ben around for over 20 years they made there own label cald suburben noise.They have a following of fans and like minded people called kings and queens which are usaly close with juggalos. They are under ground music and label so they dont have no haters that no nothing about music telling them what to say so its real. They started around 20 years ago with a 2 man band called doggy style and since then they became what they are now. They added the dirtball to the band when making the long live the kings cd. They go t0 the anual gathering of the juggalos every year maid by physcopathic records.

Martin is a funny comedian that likes to make peolpe laugh and have fun with them.he ahs this wife named gina that lives with him and gina has this friend named pam that martin doesn't like.When ever pam comes to martin house to visit gina,martin pulls a prank on her to make her mad but pam also gets martin back when ever he does something to her.They both hates each other but sometimes get along,exccept for when martin says something bad about pam.

I also like this show because martin has different characters that he play himself,known as..Roscoe,Otis,Shanana (a girl),his mother and jerome.

Breaking Bad

I watched the tv show Breaking Bad last night, Its about a chemist who is broke and cannot pay for his family, so he resorts to selling meth, and gets himself into deep stuff along with his partner (Jessie pinkman).

I enjoy the show alot because of the thrills and the dramatic scenes in it, it really puts you into his shoes and in his position, and what you would do if you where Breaking Bad.

It is a funny series as well, some of the scenes are funny in a weird or crazy way.

One scene i thought that was pretty funny but also unexpected was the scene where they had dumped the dead body into a bathtub and poured acid over it and disenigrate it.

Bad Girls Club

I have currently watched the reality show "Bad Girls Club" . I like the show because it's purpose is to bring women/girls on the show to teach them how to control their anger, handle conflicts better, and teach them that is possible to confront someone without having a altercation everytime. Although they're suppose to be on the show to better themselves they still do what they aren't suppose to do. They still allow their anger to get the best of them which leads them to fight. Later on after they do fight they realize that it was worthless and make peace with that person and it just keeps on repeating. I think it's a interesting show for people to watch because the audience can usually relate to the arguements/fights that happen on the show in the house which feeds the audience to watch the whole season. I would say that the audience in my opinion is 67% women/teen girls and 33% men/teen guys.

Carter 4

I Think that people should not listen to the new lil wayne album the Carter 4 because he always comes out with mixtapes that are better then his albums he comes out with. He can have good songs but then he tries to hard and he tries to make rock music and then he tries to sing. Lil wayne needs to write about more realistic stuff instead of always saying he smokes weed and how he can get girls. I am not trying to say he is wack because he can have good music some times and just have music that people dont want to hear. The last thing i want to say about him is i hope he does something good with his cd's in the future that will make him get more fans.

LiL wayne is a very lyrical artist, known as the best rapper alive. unfortunately his new album the Carter 4 is not so great, he uses too much auto tune and he isnt too brand with his lyrics. he didnt use his talent to the fullest on this album. I think his mixtape sorry for the wait is one of the best but thats my opinion.

I recently watched the television show America's Next Top model and i like that show because they encourage diversity and difference no girl on there is ever discrimanated they have a girl a on there named Isis and she is actually a transexual meaning she was born a man and i definetly think she changed the show for the better its not everyday you see that on a television show and she has so many fans im looking forward to this season. i think everybody should watch it, its a good show mostly for woman though man could probably find enjoyment out of it to.

Fight Club

Fight Club is a very violent movie, where they fight eachother to the point were they are all blood and beat down. I would have to say that this violince is more of a sensational type because they're going at it in that sorta of way. I also think this is an indirect influence on its viewers because its not going at a certain group of people I mean anyone can just get up and start fighting and/or form a fighting club just to beat someone down.

I think that Micheal Jackson is deified by the media even after his death. He is looked up as the "king of pop". He basically influenced the generations after him in music. He had a different style of music which makes every consumer idolize him in a way.

He is also vilified by the media because of his child molestation case. People labeled him as a child molestor even though he did not get convicted of it. I think that they used his fame to slander him even more. I think he was vilified more when he was alive but when he died he is deified more.

Antoine Dodson is a guy that was on the news because someone tryed to rape his sister and someone on youtube made it into a song. People deifie Antione Dodson because he was trying to stand up for his sister and let people know they will find the person that tryed to rape her. The song they made of antione on youtube is catchy because of some of the lines they use like "hide your kids hide you wife and hide your husbands 'cause they raping everybody out here!".

Some people vilify Antoine maybe because he doesnt know how to talk right and acts crazy like he is on drugs. Or people may vilify him because he is black.

Eazy E is both deified and vilified. He is deified because he makes great music and raps about real shit. He spits real raps and didnt care what people thought. Him talking about life on the streets like guns and drungs is part of the reason he's both deified and vilified.

He might also be vilified because he was having a fued with dr.dre for awhile and that probably didnt look good for his image. There were also rumors of him and a friend stealing money from his group, this made some people not like him. And on march 26th, 1995 Eazy E died.

Top 3 Sci-Fi Shows

Sci-fi shows are all awesome. With all the different aliens, special effects, and main characters it's just fun to watch anytime. My all time favorites are Stargate SG-1, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Fringe.

Stargate Sg-1 will always rank number one on any of my favorite TV lists. The main reason I actually started watching the show is because the female lead has the same name as me. The violence is pretty fun to watch too, because they're using all sorts of high-tech, advanced weaponry that they got from alien races. And the members of SG-1 are always fighting other races so they can save the Earth.

Star Trek: TNG is also at the top of my lists because Captain Picard is the most amazing bald man of all time. Just like in Stargate the members of the Enterprise use advanced weapon, so they can protect their home planet from evil alien races. And in both shows the members of each team search the galaxy for new races that can help them technologically as well as help them protect their home planet.

Fringe is the newest sci-fi show that has gotten my attention. Again it's all about saving earth from forces of evil, but in this show they never leave the planet. Agent Dunham along with a few others search the planet for the man who's trying to destroy it with biological weapons.

In all these shows the main characters are trying to protect the entire planet from destruction. That to me makes for some good TV. Even though all the shows have violence in them, it seems to be for the right reason. Protect the people and save the planet.

A rich person with a lovely wife and a baby has cheated. It's been a nig scandle for over weeks, all over the radio, T.V. and even the internet. Eveybody seems shocked by the amount of women that say they were once making love with Tiger Woods.

Well now in my opinion I think it is a bad thing to cheat, but also come on now, being married to the non-white richest pro. golfer in the world, doesn't mean he's not a human being. On ESPN the blog about Iverson really only talked about how he is going to help them sell tickets so i don't think Chris Sheridan (the writer of the blog on ESPN reallies cares about him playing basketball.) It seems like every time i try to look up a blog that everyone is only worried about the ticket sells that Iverson is bringing in they don't even care that they have one of the best players on there team who in the past was rookie of the year (97) and in (01) he was named MVP and in (02) he was the leader in scoring and steals and in minutes.

I think Iverson is so good because he puts up a lot of shots but he makes a lot of them he is really tuff he won't quit if he gets fouls he will not quit he is my fravite player.

The HAARP is a project that takes place in Alaska. They say its not a weapon and that they only use it for science but other believe that it is a terrifying machine. Some people think it can control minds, weather and shoots a ray.

HAARP tells people that they are in it for the science and only the good for human kind. Others beg to differ. These things are showing up around the whole world. One was seen somewhere in the middle of Iran. It is said to belong to the U.S. At that location about a year ago some people said that they saw the HAARP shoot a ray in the sky. Exactly when the ray got fired they felt the ground shake across 25 miles throw there country for about 2 mins.

In music videos it's not always about the music, something else people take in mind when they youtube music, is thier culture. Different languages are important to choose the type of music you listen to when you look for music. Like myself I go to spanish music ,as like Aventura that falls into Bachata. A type of slow/romantic, in love music when you hear it. I dont just listen to whats new in society, but to what I'm raised listening too.

Influence is also another term that describes why people look at certain videos. Also known as consenus appeal, that addresses the dires of a real or fictonal majority to convince and also may in fact be the real majority. Friends tell other Friends what music is a "hit" that makes others believe it and youtube it to listen...some people fall into it but some don't because of the taste in music.

Facebook....What comes to mind is probably the best place to connect with people and family and its cool because you get to see what your family is doing by there status update. also there games are fun to like farmville, mafia wars,dope wars its fun entertainment. i also visit alll the time because the little interaction that you do on there is always fun. On facebook theres alot of things to do.

one of the reason im minulated to keep going to facebook is because family is important and the way i keep in touch with family that don't live in minnesota is checking there update status and looking at the photos they put up and the events they put up to in the calender like i got to see what my nephew did on his birthday. So thats why i like facebook connecting wise.

the games on facebook are really fun to thats another reason why i get minpulated to go to facebook because farmville is one of the games that i like on there because like you can have neighbors and the point of the game is to harvest your farm and like your freinds on facebook give you diffrent fruits for your farm and it helps you and like you can send gifts to your friends and things like that.

i also like the quizes because there fun thats another reason that im minpulated to keep going on facebook like the one about my friends because every question that you answer about them anyomous and they don't its you and in order for them to find out they have to answer a questions and they get points so it makes you want to keep playing to find out what they said about you. If you are in this media class you have over heard me, Byron, and Brandon talking about our fantasy basketball league on ESPN. The fantasy league on ESPN is very addicting because you have to check it everyday or every other day witch can be kind of crazy trying to find the time to get on the computer and watch my team (Minnesota Riders) win or every now and then my team loses.

South Park is great because it makes fun of everyone, every type of people, they don't really discriminate they just clown on everything. I think one thing that makes their show so popular is the mass amount of violence.

Today in our world the media runs everything that we do. They controll what we wear, eat, cars we own, and many other things that we do. But for young kids this can be very dangerous, because they are molded from what they see. One major contributer to this problem is video games. Most kids have them, and most kids spend lots of time playing them. But what are they teaching them?

One example of a violent game would be Grand Theft Auto. In this game you are a illeagal imagrent that is out for revenge. This game is packed with lots of violence, mabe the most that any other video game on the market. In the game there is missions that you can do, but lets face it no 10 year old is doing the mission. For them its all about killing random people and hookers and running from the law.

Who is to blame? Lots of people say that the companies that make the game should not be making them. But no one ever talks about the parents that go out and buy the games. I think that the companies that make the games should not be getting all the criticism, because they do their by labeling the game mature. I think its up to the parents to be smart and just not by the game for the kid.

Music is suppose to be something people can relate to and also enjoy listening to. Why can't trap music be art? Young Jeezy is a artist that came form nothing to something he tell his story through his music by not just saying he sold drugs and robbed he also tells people how it didn't benefit him in the long run. He tells people how to be sucssecful without doing what he did. He motivates his listeners so why isn't that art if it's something people can feel.

Not all rappers that do trap music make art for example Gucci mane and his 1017 Brick squad they don't tell you anything about what they been through it sounds like there just talking about money car clothes and girls. It makes it kinda pointless if you don't get a point across in any of your songs. I understand making music to have fun but if you make music and never make anything that people can feel sooner or later the art part is X'd out.

The whole fashion part of the Trap rapper image might make people think its not art because they always show there big chains, bracelets or rings. A kid got taken off the streets. The Ozunu Clan transforms the kid into one of the deadliest assassins in the world. The kid (Rain) spent most of his life making hits for the Ozunu until he made a brake for it and now spends all his time getting back at the Clan.

There is a lot of violence throughout the whole movie. Fighting everywhere, gun shooting and just fighting in general. This movie thrives on fighting. The movie has an okay story line but what makes it good is the fighting. The fighting in this movie is compared to some of Bruce Lees first movies.

It looks like a good movie because of the action and fighting but some people dont like it because of the same reason. Some people dont like violent movies but I do. I think it shows you another view on life instead of you having to experience it.

Musicals, For the love of art or money??

Musicals (theater) is truly for the love of art. Actors put a lot of work and time into their characters although they are not as famous and recognized as Hollywood actors.

In a way this form of art is still pretty "underground" but is getting greater attention and being recognized annualy by the Tony Awards.

Not like High School Musical for example that took place in a movie theatre. It worked the first time and decided to make two more. Of course, so obvious, all about the money $$$.

In Carlitos Way Rise To Power he tries to get respect from all the races because back then they were all divided basically into three ways: the blacks stayed on there side, the italians also had there own side, and the hispanics had there own side too. Carlito also was in buisness with a black person and italian person because they all had connections and they had there job in the drug business. The black guy (Earl) was the person that controlled the money. Rocco the Italian guy had the connections. Carlito Brigante was the head boss. There drug buisness is heroin and back in the 1960s that was the big thing to sell people because alot of people were using that drug.

Carlito uses his reputaion to strike fear into people so if they disrespect him or just use violence for no reason against innocent people he'd use viloence or at least scare them so they won't do it again or at least not to his people. But in this movie they all used respect for power because of there reputation like Hollywood Nikki (Sean Combs) people were scared of him because of how powerful he was, how much respect he had, and how much fear he put into people.

The violence and the power they had made them known on the street and have the respect that they earned. They used there violence to rise and become powerful and be some of the biggest bosses even if they were all diffrent races. You can pick up a moral from this movie. It's like if you don't know them and all you know is there reputation why would you try them and see how far there willing to go?

We have come pretty far since 1951 with all the technolgy that we have thats why people remade movies because we can add more things like Better special effects and better camera postions. And then when the christmas carol were just coming out they didn't have all this techonlogy like an imax threater they probably had 3d but it isn't up to date like it is now.

In past versions of the Christmas Carol they couldn't animate famous actors into movies. They had to settle for what they could do. Now a days we have technology to be able to animate people like Jim Carey into the movies. So that's why movies that get remade do so good because were able to do more.

The good thing about them remaking the movie is that they didn't change the the storyline. Usually when people remake movies that were made alot they change the storyline or tweek it a little bit. In this remake the only thing they changed or made better was the special effects and the characters.

Bioshock in 2007 was the number one best seller for the Xbox 360. Sells sky rocketed after the first week, rumor got around that it had a great story line and some of the best graphics people have ever seen. Bioshock wasn't for multiply or online.

Your planes crashes in the ocean. You find a mini ship and take it under. Once under he finds a whole new world with monsters and lots of other stuff

personly Bioshock was a great will spent couple days playing it. Nothing like i played before. Different charators and different placement.
