The Amazing Race

This show is a real pain in the butt...but it also makes us wonder, What in the world would somebody compete in it if they might lose or be badly injured?

Fantasy; to desire something, fame. Also a good explanantion why people tend to give into competition on T.V. other wise, that money is included. Celebrity desire wow, another big answer to the amzing race. people don't care if they break an arm, or a leg, just to be on national television is "kool" enough for them to be seem as tough, hard working for their money, and famous in the future.

Ok if people really want to win money why don't they win by going to, Who wants to be a millionnaire? Something less risky, but you still win money by sitting down and answering questions right? (I know I would!) It comes back to being in a Fantasy world, instead of being a nerd on T.V.!

Why is Tiger Woods so famous? A pretty good question everybody not involved in golf society would ask that. He's one of the best golfers of all time, he has the highest-paid professional athlete in 2008, he has won the 14 major golf championships and for being the first non-white to win the masters. Also he's seen as the "perfect" husband and family guy, with the perfect white teeth smile.

Wow! Is what everybody is saying now these days, Tiger woods a married man, has cheated on his wife. Not only with one or two or three...but with 11 women all over the world. A rich person with a lovely wife and a baby has cheated. It's been a nig scandle for over weeks, all over the radio, T.V. and even the internet. Eveybody seems shocked by the amount of women that say they were once making love with Tiger Woods.

Well now in my opinion I think it is a bad thing to cheat, but also come on now, being married to the non-white richest pro. golfer in the world, doesn't mean he's not a human being. He's just another person, but covered with money. Everybody makes mistakes in thier life, it doesn't matter if your rich or poor you still have the same feelings as a person. Cheating is wrong, rich people think that by giving money to the lover is going to shut them up, well no it' not. Tiger made a big mistake by cheating with alot of women al over the world, and paying them money to stay quiet, and he wasn't very smart i texting and leaving voice mails. In the end the truth always comes out, so people don't cheat. =)

In music videos it's not always about the music, something else people take in mind when they youtube music, is thier culture. Different languages are important to choose the type of music you listen to when you look for music. Like myself I go to spanish music ,as like Aventura that falls into Bachata. A type of slow/romantic, in love music when you hear it. I dont just listen to whats new in society, but to what I'm raised listening too.


Influence is also another term that describes why people look at certain videos. Also known as consenus appeal, that addresses the dires of a real or fictonal majority to convince and also may in fact be the real majority. Friends tell other Friends what music is a "hit" that makes others believe it and youtube it to listen...some people fall into it but some don't because of the taste in music.

Wow! Distraction is a big part of music videos, teens and adults listen to music to feel different, or in another world, to mentally feel free in believe what the song's say, and some just listen to music because they simply have nothing to do...

This movie is more like a documentary on how Michael Jackson prepared for his show in London. His death last June made the world wonder, was he ever happy? He's been challanged all his life when his operations had started. Some people thought he was crazy but he still had it. All his concerts he ever gave. were the best he gave. He put all himself into the performances.

The main actor is himself, Michael Jackson. The pop idol of all time, even thought his death was a tragic situation for the whole world. The trailer of this documentary was amazing. So many special effects, the lighting were great, the sounds effects, the music, the 3d things, and most of all he still had the moves to dance.

Style vs. Substance. This movie has enough style, because it show's the rehearsals and backstage footage of him a week before his sold-out show. It's almost everything but the only thing they don't show wold be the bad moments of Michael. He didn't always feel happy and gald, and what about the shut downs he so called had?

Dollar Tree

The Dollar Tree is a popular consumerist trap store. A dollar, thats the first thing I think when I see the big green letters as I walk outside the school. Why go anywhere else, or walk anywhere else, when the munchies I have and need are right outside the school and only for a buck?!

Some of the reasons why people fall into their store could just simply be the fact that it's a dollar, has a variety of food, chips, pop, and even supplies you need in your everyday life. Even from the most poorest people, to the most money saving people the dollar tree is the best option to buy each persons expenses anyday.

I really don't know if it'll ever be possible to resist the dollar store, unless they make a cheaper store of the same goods.(That's never). I mean why buy pop or chips the same product in a Holiday Gas Staion, when the Dollar Tree is right in front, only for a dollar, and there it's twice the price and sometimes more after taxes?!
