x-raided, deified or vilified?

X-raided is both deified and vilified. He's deified because he's a rapper and people like him for that. He also keeps it real (not a studio gangster) and so people give him respect for that. He speaks his mind and tells it how it is rapping or not.

He is also vilified because at the moment he is in prison doing 25-life for 1st degree muder. People lable him as a gang banging killer, even though he claims he's innocent. His music is explicit so people cut down his music saying it's bad or thats not music.

2pac "fuck all y'all". art & buisness

i chose the 2pac song titled "fuck all y'all" as my blog. this song is both art and buisness. first it's art because it's emotional (meaning it has emotions in it/it's about emotions). it explains his situation to a point to where we can relate to it. he put his soul (himself) into the song, without that it would be just another song that wouldn't mean anything and probably be forgoten. this song has more than one emotion, just like people do. the lyrics express agressive/sadness, while the beat has a mellow/relaxed flow/rhythm to it.

the song is art but is also buisness. buisness because it makes money, it was made to be put on an album with a bunch of other songs to be sold to people so they could also enjoy it. even though it's art, the price tag next to it makes it a buisness. it costs money to make art and it also costs money to live a good enough life at least and this song can make money. and it has. thats how it's art AND buisness.

X-Raided "most wanted"

The song "Most wanted" by X-Raided is about who all wants him locked up or dead. but being who he is, he is going to fight it and try to prevent that even though he is doing 25 to life in prison for 1st dagree murder. I like this song, the beat is origanal and he isnt fake (he talks about real stuff happening in life and also in his life). He stays true to himself and his crew. thats why he's one of my favorite rappers.
