vin diesel and his top 5 movies

There are 5 different movies of his that I like a lot and that are pretty well known. He’s been in; “Saving Private Ryan.” He played in that in 1998 and he was Private Caparzo. In this movie I didn’t even know he was in this movie but I use to love it when it first came out. “Pitch black.” He was in that in 2000 and played the character of Riddick. He was good for this movie because of his attitude, and his muscles that are huge. “The fast and the furious.” This movie came out in 2001 and he played Dominic. Once again he was good for this movie because of how he looks, but he always made me believe that he always raced cars. He had really good acting in this movie. There is another "fast and furious" coming out in 2009 with Vin Diesel in the movie.

“xXx” came out in 2002 and he played the famous Xander Cage. He was good for this movie because someone super skinny with no muscles would be able to do the stunts he does, plus to me he just ended up fitting in. They are coming out with another one of these movies in 2011 with him playing in this one too. He also played in the move “The pacifier.” That one came out in 2005 and he played Lieutenant Shane Wolfe. He was good in this movie because he opened his feelings and was finally not the big tough guy, he became the funny sweet, nice guy.

The connection to society is stereotype, because you always knew he was going to be the big strong tough guy who is in only action packed movies, until he showed up in the movie “The pacifier.” He didn’t have to be all big and strong to be in this movie, there wasn’t too much action, and it was a movie everyone could watch. Another connection is subversion, which is the part where he finally gets into a different type of movie.

One more connection would be audience targeting, like most of his older films are mostly for guys, the ones that love a lot of action, and now there isn’t really any because he tried out different movies other then action ones and it was still a big hit like the action movies.
