'Just like you' is a song that is trying to say that even though Keyshia Cole's famous and has a lot of money doesn't mean she doesn't go through problems that normal people go through. She even went through more than most people. She grew up in a foster home but still knew her bilogical mom because she used to be around her house being a crackhead so she always seen her. She never knew her dad and she was only close to one of her sisters and there is about six she barely knows. So after all the things she went through, she decided to make her own show to try to get her family back together after her mom got out of jail. Right after that she came out with an album that is based on everything she and her family went through. First it was Let It Go which was focused on her sister that still want to be with her husband, but her husband doesn't want anything to do with her. Then it was I Remember which I believe was focused on her mom and how she was mad when she left her and how it became a memory. There was Just Like You which never came out as a single but it's one of the songs on her album which is saying no matter how famous she is she still went/go through a lot just like everybody else go through.
