Havent you ever seen those cd commercials on tv the ones that try to advertise a new cd of a new artist and they put it on as much as possible just so alot of people can see it and buy it. Also on the cd cover it says "it also includes the hit single" just so people can remember the song they hear on tv.
They usually tend to target younger people to buy those cd's because all the cd album commercials they put it on the music video channels because they know that people that watch music videos are the people that like music and would usually take in any music.
They end up succeding most of the time because as they keep showing the commercial more and more they keep getting more people interested in the cd and the song get stuck in their heads and even if in the beggining they probably did'nt like it they end up likeing it at the end because they hear it often.
