I think COD is a good example of business, some reasons are they make the game as real as possible. If you have seen an ad for the game and you play video games you will get tuned in to the ad.
I don't think the game could get more art full because the game looks beastly with all the online games and the one player mode looks even better then the online mode. If they tried to make it more artful I dont think it would work because the gam is all ready artful, it would be more business it would just make the game better and get more sales.
I think there could be "pure art" but not in video games because its all about the sales in video games and in most media its all about the money.
