Myspace, Facebook, twitter and etc.... are all places were people communicate. Myspace was the most original but I favor facebook more.
Myspace is more for sparkle and show, you can fix your profile up, give it a background even put music on there. You can comment, message and IM your friends. There is tons of apps and videos for those bored days but I personally don't spend my time on there
Facebook is way better and more for teens and adults to chat and communicate with others friends, family and strangers. Facebook is great if you have family or friends out of state. quick communication fast to get a hold of someone and you can always leave a message if they are not online.
Facebook can be a very fruitful site. with chats with friends, family ect.... but its not like that all the time. Anyone can find you on seach engine, you can get a crazy ex messaging you or even someone you dont get along with. The good thing about that is your able to block people
Communication is very important for everyone and Facebook is the best bet for that. facebook keeps it simple and plain for those people that don't like going all out our their sites but if you like a little sparkle Facebook can do that for you too.
