the main sterotypes that always have come up and will always come up for Hispanics is the whole cutting grass thing thats almost everybodys first racial sterotype that and that they do house work. I had a conversation with my brother and law and he even said that he was talking to his boss and his boss said yea not all of his Hispanic workers are legal but they get the job done and work for however much money and they also think all maids are usally mexicans and thats it.
Another sterotype is the whole mexican and puerto rican thing everybody says that mexicans and puerto ricans are the same so let me clear things up for you First thing is mexicans are illegal and puerto rico is on american soil so that makes puerto ricans legal a another thing is that there are diffrent types of food like puerto ricans eat Jibaritos,Alcaupurrias and things like that and if you went to a mexican resturant the food you would buy would be tosdas, tacos, burritos.
to me i think that the sterotypes that they have been coming up with is just plain stupid because it would be the same if we automatically assume that all white people in alabama or in Missippi are rednecks and or hicks because of what type of enviroment that they happen to live in.
