i chose the 2pac song titled "fuck all y'all" as my blog. this song is both art and buisness. first it's art because it's emotional (meaning it has emotions in it/it's about emotions). it explains his situation to a point to where we can relate to it. he put his soul (himself) into the song, without that it would be just another song that wouldn't mean anything and probably be forgoten. this song has more than one emotion, just like people do. the lyrics express agressive/sadness, while the beat has a mellow/relaxed flow/rhythm to it.
the song is art but is also buisness. buisness because it makes money, it was made to be put on an album with a bunch of other songs to be sold to people so they could also enjoy it. even though it's art, the price tag next to it makes it a buisness. it costs money to make art and it also costs money to live a good enough life at least and this song can make money. and it has. thats how it's art AND buisness.
