Epic Movie
Epic Movie was basically the plot of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Narnia put together with other movie spoofs intertwined into it. These movies included but are not limited to: Harry Potter, Snakes on a Plane, and Pirates of the Carribean. This movie not only took the plot from, but also took spoofs from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Narnia.
The 5 previously named movies were the most spoofed in Epic Movie. Some people say that they were poorly spoofed. According to both "IMBD.com" and "RottenTomatoes.com", this movie was rated a 2 out of 10. Is this and accurate rating? Upon conducting my own research, about 6.5 out of every 10 people said that they either liked it or loved it, and that they could all identify the movies that were spoofed.
Epic Movie actually did a really good job of portraying the characters and their personas and attitudes. For example in this clip of the movie, (link that follows), shows that they could portray Harry Potter really well, bt yet in the same they are making fun of it.
Epic Movie in total spoofed over 20 movies and things from tv shows. Some of the more unique things that they spoofed were, scenes from Click, Superman Returns, Scarface, and from MTV Cribs. Something for you to remember... I figure, they spoof movies, to make you think a lot higher of the "big Hollywood" movies, so it could change your thoughts and feelings for the movie.
