Edge Of Darkness is a drama/thriller that's coming out in 2009. Mel Gibson, Danny Huston, and Shawn Roberts star in the film, just to name a few. The director of the movie is Martin Campbell. The difference between this movie and most other movies is in most movies where someone is killed you depend on the police to figure out who killed the person, but in this movie a man's daughter is killed and he is the one who is looking for her killer. While doing so he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.A movie that this make me think about is Running Out of Time with Denzel Washington when he is trying to figure out a murder and every time anyone finds evidence on the murder, it always points to Denzel but he finds out a way to cover it up every time something come back on him. In this movie the dad is trying to find out about his daughter killing and while doing so he finds out that another police officer that he works with is trying to cover up all the evidence. I don't think this movie is going to be like other movies that have come out because most movies don't have parents trying to find the person that killed their kids, you usually have to wait for the police to figure out everything.
